I throw simple, gorgeous, curvy forms and then hand paint a delicious glaze over them. To throw a curvy form seems easy but you always need to be conscience of how the form will look once turned. A slightly more forceful touch here and there can alter the form completely. Little tweaks can change the form from an ordinary piece to a fabulous one.

I like using Earthenware white clay because there is a wide range of vibrant glazes available for it. This allows me to have fun with it and play with colour combinations.
